The stone gutters upset
by time, cold, and tree roots
form a series of steps
where the surfeit from sprinklers
collecting, increasing
small deluge, with rushing,
falls the water down. This was written as a result of my many night-time walks in the SLC cemetery located a few blocks from my home.
